Location - Wellington Storage Facility

Our Wellington Storage Facility is located at Lower Tyers Road, Ngauranga Gorge, a convenient five minutes North of central Wellington, and 10 minutes from Lower Hutt and 15 minutes from Porirua.
Our Lower Hutt Storage Facility is located at 111 Eastern Hutt Rd, Taita Lower Hutt.

Lower Tyers Road, is the first exit left from the bottom of Ngauranga Gorge, SH1. Follow the signs to the BIG ORANGE building located just behind Online Security (the big blue building on your left hand side as you head up Ngauranga Gorge) and before the quarry.

If you’re travelling from Wellington city or Lower Hutt along the motorway.

Take SH1 and follow the signs in the direction of Johnsonville. At the bottom of the Ngauranga Gorge you pass under a railway overbridge and 100m after take the first left exit into Tyers Road. Online Security is on the corner. Follow the Store-it signs to the end of the BIG ORANGE building and turn left up the driveway to our office.

If you reach the quarry, you’ve missed the Tyres Road turn off. You will need to take the Newlands off-ramp, cross the motorway and then head back down Ngauranga Gorge (toward Wellington city) and take the Lower Hutt off-ramp. At the next traffic lights do a ‘U’ turn and head back up Ngauranga Gorge and take the first left hand exit into Tyers Road. .

If you’re travelling on SH1 from Johnsonville or Porirua

As you go down Ngauranga Gorge you pass the quarry on your right hand side. 300m further down you will see Online Security, a big blue building on the corner of Tyers Rd, opposite you. You should see our bright orange signage up on the hill behind Online Security. You pass under the railway over-bridge and take the Lower Hutt off-ramp. You pass LV Martin and at the next traffic lights do a ‘U’ turn and head back toward Ngauranga Gorge and follow the directions as above
